Accordingr to CapFriendly, he didn't get drafted. It's a bugger from his pow, because he was playing several seasons in NA at time and could avot, apparently they didn't even give him a Signing Bonus, which would have been a legal way to pay him another $65k on top of the $70k for effectively playing in AHL. Did they just do a friendly service for his agent by letting him get a foot in the league?

I was a bit surprised they didn't give him a bonus.
