blackwood was positive a week ago. judging by the normal period that it takes for positive tests to show up after transmission i wouldn’t be surprised if we see a few more positive tests in the next few days, and again 7-10 days from now

Well if Travis had a positive test, chances are the entire team may end up having positive tests then.

If Blackwood gave it to Zajac then we are going to have games postponed because it's going to be in the entire locker room

Travis looks like a string bean but don't let that fool you, he's tough as nails. That play against Crosby was hilarious, what a little bitch, he barely touched him and he was flopping around like a baby, I thought it was a joke. His go against Gudas was amazing, pretty much inspired the gif below. Travs play during the 2012 run was absolutely amazing, I think people forgot or didn't realize how good he actually was during those playoffs.

Anyway, Trav has been one of the best soldiers and team players this franchise has ever seen, bar none, a complete professional top to bottom and never bitched about anything...ever, no matter how crappy this team has been, he chose to stay in NJ.

Frankly, if you've got anything bad to say about him, f*** YOU, you're an asshole and you don't know what you're talking about. Dude has been and absolute warrior for this team.

If Zajac got it from MBW isn't it a bit late for him to be the first positive? Wouldn't some others have tested positive faster? This is still unsettling. I'm concerned about Ruff and anyone over 50 around the team. Hopefully vaccines start rolling out faster.

A week is about right, if we get to Tuesday or Wednesday and there are no more, maybe we dodged a bullet. NHL is pretty unimpressive this season in terms of Covid.

It takes about a week to incubate. The next few days will tell the story.

If Blackwood spread it around we will see more positives between today and Tuesday.

Also have to see if any Flyers or Islanders end up on the list.

In our house (5 people) we all got it, but it took 14 days from first to get infected to last of us.

Can’t believe it’s been (nearly) 1000 games. 2006 really feels like yesterday.

Great player, great professional, awesome haircut. Love you Trav.

Nice post, and I agree
I love Trav's attitude... I mean the whole time, never cocky yet never whiny, whether the teams in last place or going to the Finals, he's really even keeled (characterized by stability or consistency)

I trust everyone recovered and all are ok? That must have been a rough couple of weeks.

My grandmother got pneumonia and she's recovering all others had mild or no simptoms. It's stressful, I'm not afraid of this Covid, but I'm afraid for my older family members.

My wife got it and I never did, never even showed symptoms. Crazy who it does and doesn’t effect.

it is very strange, my Mom who had it (unknowingly at the time) was in the car with my dad for 2+ hours..that same day I sat next to and spoke with her for 15 minutes. She shows symptoms the next morning and tests positive; I then show symptoms a few days later and my dad thankfully never got it

My mom also had it and lives w my step-dad who is incredibly immunocompromised due to ALS, and he never got it...bizarre.

Even with all the more flashy and younger good players on this team, Travis is probably my favorite. He's such a pro.

Greene, Coleman etc. getting traded and seeing on a rival jersey hurt, but imagining if Travis accepted the NYI trade last year that was rumoured.. that wouldve really hurt. In Marty with Blues kinda way. Not saying for you guys, but for me personally. He's been with the team my whole time as a fan.

He's one of those guys you'd love to get a chance to finish his career here and only wear one jersey his whole career, like Patty.

But if he wants to go and get a Cup at the deadline, you trade him and thank him for all the work he put in day in day out for this organisation.

But if he doesnt want to get traded and wants to keep playing in Jersey, I hope the management agrees that he's earned another contract and a chance to retire here whether its this year or 1 or 2 years from now.

Love the guy.

For some reason I bought a Zajac jersey 10 years ago. I am quite sure im the only Finnish person with one of those. So if you see a #19 jersey in a Helsinki pub when a game is on, buy me a round
