Hi All... Red Wings fan here trying to gauge value and interest within your board...

Proposal being

Hurricanes Receive: Yevgeni Svechnikov & Andreas Athanasiou

Red Wings Receive: Jake Bean and 2019 1st round pick (Top 3 protected ) No protections in 2020

Value seem fair? You get to pair the Svechnikov brothers and Athanasiou needs a location change. I really like him but just don't see him sticking with the Red Wings long term... he's signed for two years at a pretty fair cap hit too. I do realize Bean is probably your best prospect but you guys are pretty strong on defense.

If we hadn't drafted Zadina, I wouldn't have been open to trading Svechnikov either.

No he’s saying that if we pick top 3 it’d slide to 2020, and there’s no top 3 protection for 2020.

TBH I'm not sure that AA or Svechnikov gets you Bean alone, certainly not Bean + another first.
