Sam Bennet also is represented by Darren Ferris and Friedman said tonight on Headlines that he has also requested a trade out of Calgary.

Bennett carries a $2.55M cap hit while Mete is only at $735K. So if there was ever a deal to be made here, Habs would have to give cap to Calgary.

On a serious note, the Canucks apparently showed interest and Virtanen is someone who I think would compliment this team nicely. Big, fast and had 18 goals last year. He's an incredibly frustrating player to watch though and is just very inconsistent.
