3-way trades are rare but I wonder if that is what it will take in this scenario?

Edmonton gets Hamonic.
Islanders get XX.
YY gets Eberle.

I think the Jets make the most sense.

I could see them making a deal but I think the Flames or Canucks will step up first. Especially since the Flames need to save their season.

That's a massive overpay IMO. One or the other, not both.

Why would we have to give more? Eberle is signed for 5 more years. Schultz can be re-signed by the Isles. That's almost an overpayment if it was just Eberle and Schultz for Hamonic.

I really don't see Calgary in on this. Gio is there captain, and just re-signed long term. Brodie is their home grown, up and coming Dman. Hamilton was just traded for and re-signed.
