No one said they were. They reported the Habs were in on both but their priority is a top-line forward.

Holy hell, I really hope we don't trade for Giroux. That contract will become an absolute anchor if his performance continues to decline as it has in recent years.

It won't be as bad as Gomez, but I don't see Claude being a 65-70 point player for the next 5 years.

43 points in 61 games is fine. His contract is very hard to swallow (8.75M until 2021-22), but he's still a good player.
