If his name was Alexander Burrows and not Alexandre Burrows this wouldn't even be a discussion. My god, this team is pathetic.

This is ridicolous. How can you possibly say this with nothing to back it up? Makes any argument you guys have agaisnt management invalid when you invoke conspriacy theories.

Only way Burrows makes a tiny bit of sense is for DD.

after last night , I am not so sure this club should make a deal,

MB this team needs 2 strong lines of scoring, and they well cost way to much ,

MB you are screwed, can't see how or why .....

if he trades for burrows, and that is his plan, sad really

Good PP guy, above/average at even strength.

You don't want him at C, pretty decent LW.

If you Watch him carefully, most of his scoring chances comes from the right side of the ice (Especially when he has the puck when entering the zone). He has been tried on RW and did pretty well but for unknown reasons, they played him elsewhere.

Yeah. Hes a 50 point player on the best PP unit in the world. He wouldnt be anything close to that if he didnt play the slot with simmonds giroux jake and ghost.

He works there because of the make up of the PP, he wouldnt work in our PP.

Also, Streit would be a healthy scratch.

Oh and, Skjei < Beaulieu. So it makes no sense.

Im not even starting on Sergachevs value.

I just hope that MBs wanting us to be tougher to play against does not mean skill is going to play a secondary objective.

Getting Weber for PK sent me around the bend, even though I knew Weber is an excellent D man. It has worked out fine this year, but there is no question we dropped in skill level because PK is more skilled than Weber. but Weber, as I think MB defines it, makes us tougher to play against.

Getting Shaw, ok. MB wanted another Gallagher type. Tougher to play against.

Burrows, I guess we would be tougher to play against.

We need more skill, and specifically a skilled 2C.

MB has done things which I wondered about at the moment, but they have worked out.( Radulov was a skilled pick-up, who is also a tough player to play against, I point out.) So I have to give him the benefit of the doubt.

Theres no way we sell.

Selling would just be Bergevin admiting he failed, if he fails, he needs out.

We need a cup within the next two years, hes been at the helm for five years with no results.

Gainey did the same thing as he and he only got five years. Enough.

Shaw AND Burrows on the same team? Is Bergevin's plan to have the stupidest, dirtiest, and most undisciplined team in the league?
