Could see a Desharnais +mid round draft pick for Burrows swap. Two expiring contracts, Burrows is higher cap hit but better player at this point.

That's not bad actually...

I think Burrows is crap right now but maybe a little change will help both guys until end of the year.

Jesus christ. We get hosed in every single deal.

Do you even watch these guys? Streit was bad defensively when he was with us in his prime... Do you believe hes better when hes considerably slower?

Paciorrety for Drouin

Weber for Vlasic

We need to shake the core and get younger

Fine.

Patches for Leddy and MDC or MB ( assuming Isles really want a top winger for JT )

Leddy , Scherbak , 2017 1st and ? for Landeskog and Duchene.

I view Patches as an elite goal scoring winger given his consistent production over the years, Leddy a good top pairing D, but just good, Duchene and Landeskog good top 6 players. Thinking the Isles will pay up for a real goal scorer to keep JT happy.

Big enough shake-up ?

Not saying I would do this, but it shakes up the team.

I don't want to sound cocky and Mr Know It All, but I'm pretty confident I'm watching more hockey than you do (without disrespect to you!)

It begins, Gagnon, G Therrien, Tremblay, all of them have said that AG is a difficult guy who didn't care about the team but more himself. AG doesn't want to learn how to defend or to win faceoffs... AG is not a reliable center and deserve to be at the wing....

G Therrien just said that if you don't like the coach or the team, you have to go to Nashville.....

From a self interest point of view Galchenyuk would want to learn how to be better, and be better at face-offs.

And is the Tremblay you are referring to the one who was the coach who completely alienated our Superstar Patrick Roy ? Makes perfect sense. ...

People here seem to believe RDS is the mouth piece of the Habs somehow. It's conspiracy hour here.

It's the only way it would make any kind of sense from our perspective.

It still only makes sense to ship out DD if there is a center being acquired. Is Hanzal the guy? Hanzal and Burrows in leaves only one hole to fill on LD for this season.

Oh....and Burrows is no leach. He got Horvat and Baertschi producing. He's still a very effective player and a perfect cheap deadline acquisition.

Where does Schenn get most of his points?

Good PP guy, above/average at even strength.

You don't want him at C, pretty decent LW.

If you Watch him carefully, most of his scoring chances comes from the right side of the ice (Especially when he has the puck when entering the zone). He has been tried on RW and did pretty well but for unknown reasons, they played him elsewhere.

Burrows can play on either wings, and we still have Patches, Lehkonen, Byron, Carr, Andrighetto, even Shaw and Galchenyuk :)naughty:) , who can play LW.

I swear, if we do this, i want MB gone. It would be disaster.

Agreed, you don't give up such a young guy with the same size and more potential offence for a guy that is regularly injured and never put up more than 40 pts in a season.

Maybe watch them play. Edler would take your D up a massive level and Burrows is a very effective player.

Not so much. Edler is not what he once was like I said and Burrows is almost useless at this point, he is slow and does not put up points. His supposed grit stops once someone challenges him. He is Lapierre at best.

Burrows... Seriously ? This guy is a washed up POS. Can't stand that scum. Rather keep DD forever than seeing this bum in Montreal.

A very short term solution... He is UFA next July, like DD.

And we would get rid of all these DD threads forever.
