starting to think might as well hold onto Lupul. He has no value and if all the guys are moved that can be including the UFAs and PK and DP in the summer cap space should not be an issue. Increase his value and hopefully next year he, Polak and Robidas can be moved for more futures.

My Gardiner pick is extremely speculative , but I really think Lupes is gone at the deadline. To Chicago, or even Nashville, if not St Louis. The west will be in a race to load up...

Yeah I think at the high end 6 is the number. The 3 UFA's, Holzer, perhaps a goaltender, and 1 other veteran. At the most. No way we turnover half the roster in 2 weeks.

FYI: The NYI traded their 1st round pick in 2015.

That pick either belongs to Buffalo still or now Winnipeg as part of the Evander Kane trade.

Geez not even in NHL 15 do teams make as much trades as much as some of you guys are predicting on trade deadline day lol.

Honestly I'm expecting at most 4 trades to happen

Santo gone

It's going to be a bit tragic come deadline when this team only is able to pull off 3-4 deals and people will legitimately be disappointed because their expectations are just too high.

Remember - it takes 2 to tango. Can't just be willing to give players up. Have to have a trade partner, and a decent offer from said partner. No urgency for Leafs to move any of their long term signed guys if the deal isn't right.
