It'll be tough to deal Tinner, but I'd do it for the right player that addresses our need immediately and makes us better for a run at the Cup, especially if that player has term on his deal (and I know Bergevin isn't stupid, so he'll be looking for that in a deal that includes Tinordi.).

Not going to shoot you.....but man, this is still in the educated guess category. We mostly all thought and wanted to get Petry. Was he right for DSP? Tell when when he'll have a deal that is actually not in the educated guess category.

Not necessarily. If the Petry part was worked out, I can see the Habs wanting to pull the trigger right away in case another team offered something better while they were still working on the bigger deal (i.e. Eberle).
