The pandemic might have actually helped us.
No, the pandemic did not help us. It came at the worst possible time for us, right after we had signed the majority of our core to long-term contracts. The minor downward pressure we may have seen on contracts for a small portion of our roster does not make up for the cap increases that have been lost.

Nobody has a "perfect roster". What I said was that there is nothing wrong with the way we have constructed our roster, which is true.
The exact same, no. Substantially similar, yes.
There is actually quite a bit of difference in how teams have been impacted, though some, like us, have navigated it better than others.
Arizona failed to meet payroll last summer.
As a result of the pandemic, which came after what's being discussed...

There's truth and there's your opinion.
Playoff results suggest there IS something wrong with the roster. Not only playoff results, but lack of compete in the biggest games, no standing up for eachother, no "killer instinct" etc
But it doesn't matter what I or anyone else says, you have your mind made up on everything Dubas-related
