No problem not getting the big name ufa's. It's the mid level ufa's you need to fill the gaps. The way to win a Cup is draft and develop your core.

take out boldy and insert greenway and this problem solves itself.

i would also be on board with this, as we can always retain and trade kane again in years 3,4 if hes an issue

It's a fact that Kane has massive money problems, and highly likely that it's due to gambling. The allegations from his pregnant wife, true or not, are the giant cherry on top to the massive PR liability he represents.

It's not like this is the first time he has been accused of being a problem on a team. Winnipeg couldn't wait to dump him. I don't understand how any team could sign up for acquiring him unless they have the Albert Einstein of damage control employed on their staff. The guy is a toxic mess of bankruptcy, addiction, locker room cancer, and poor treatment of his wife. A ticking time bomb would be an apt description of him.

This... Is a lot of personal opinions without any facts behind them... of course you are entitled to your opinions... just curious why do much doom and gloom on him? It's like he slept with your sister or something.

I have just never heard any source say he has an ego (like the last gm), that fialas contact issues we more about aav than term, or that any free agents didn't like him as a person (just hazarding a guess that most free agents are scared of not being competitive with the parise/Suter dead cap...
