Lol, no. Ever wonder why Nashville has had numerous top D but have never had a true 1C in their history?

It’s because one of these positions is a hell of a lot more valuable and harder to fill than the other. And Subban+++ for Matthews isn’t even a little tempting.

Any team looking to trade for a 1C needs to realize and be okay with the fact that they will be robbed. It will not be fair, you won’t be happy, but you’ll have a valuable piece to build around.

That's quite a bit for a 20 goal scoring winger, we really need goal scorers on the wing. Hopefully again, Tolvanen fills that for us...

Again, we don't need to give up a lot for a center, we need help on the wing, and then I don't know that we need a lot, we did after all win the Presidents Trophy last season.....

-how much upside they think Nylander has
-how much upside/ how ready they think Fabbro is
-Ellis's interest in re-signing
-if they want to preemptively posture for the Seattle draft

I would love Subban on TO, but people need to ask themselves one simple question before they click post on any trade involving Matthews: Is McDavid coming the other way? If the answer is no, then stop what you're doing and continue on with your day.
