This is the post you responded to. So yes, when it comes to this claim, the sample size that includes relevant data is far better than the one that tacks on a bunch of extra data that has nothing at all to do with 5v5 production.

If the discussion was about even strength production, or overall production, who's the better player, or whatever... then more data is better. But it wasn't.
