Thanks for proving my point. Bergevin, as bad as he is, knows one thing, if he doesnt win, hes out. Same goes for any GM in any sports. You have to produce wins. Thats it.

Look at the Pens. Two cups in two years, going for the threepeat, on cup in 2009... theyve been all in since 2008... why? Because you dont just waste an opportunity to win for maybes in the future.

If Leafs kept Kessel they probably would have finished bottom 5-10 and ended up selecting the next best C available, Jost/Brown? Or maybe the other Nylander?

Who cares if the Leafs "lost" the Kessel trade, it got them Matthews.
