Quick is negative value with his deal, im not even discussing a deal with him
With the kings history with Russian born players i would put money on the first being a better fit long term on the kings.

does the players' nationality really matter? he is a very good prospect
In theory no it shouldn't however there is a old saying of once bitten twice shy that would apply if i was running the kings and its been alot more then just one Russian disaster. To be blunt i can't remember any Russian that have worked out.

Zhitnik and Voynov were alright. Unfortunately, Zhitnik got traded in a pretty awful deal with Buffalo and we know the Voynov story but prior to that, he was an important piece in the Kings defense during their Cup runs.
