Last year he took like 15 draws and won 30% of that, so he's not a centre.

Probably just a vet for when the Leafs barely play any regulars.

Really disagree with this mind set from Leaf fans. He needs to go to a level and dominate it for a season. Since his D +1 season the Leafs have hardly developed this player. Sure he has had injuries but those injuries are in part by playing him at levels he really was not ready for, For all the talk of "Slow Baking" prospects his development has been handled horribly. Let him go to the AHL and make the All Star game and be a force then find a home for him. Kadri with a very similar body type was considered a bust when he was 21 too.

Fans forget Lafferty come to TO with a groin injury and that was why we had such a meh impression. He went out and healed up and then was quite good when he came back the last few games of the season.

I think he will be a good piece for us.

He's turning 22 in a few days.... no he is not.

He is likely behind Holmberg for a roster spot.

Robertson and Jarnkrok are very different players.

If everyone traded 22 year olds if they didn't make an impact in the NHL yet like 90% of prospects would get traded.

PSA: Most players signed to PTO contracts are there to fill veteran roster spots in camp, and the NHL team has very little interest in signing them to NHL contracts.

Hard to find fault with that. At worst, a speedy camp body. At best, a potential depth option you can probably shuttle up and down through waivers. Good use of a PTO.
