Possibly, Chicago can do with another defender.
I don't think it would be a one for one, but stick the sarcasm.

You mean Nylander from the Leafs? That can be done too if there are enough addons.I don't think it would be a one for one, but stick the sarcasm.

Yes, it was a Toronto Edmonton thread. I like Larsson and he might be a piece added, but what would the main piece be? Larsson is at 4.166 for this year and next.Yes, okay, sorry, this is an Edm Tor thread but I should have made that clear.
Larsson for W.Nylander
We can talk what else is needed to make that happen but I think in general it is what both teams are looking for.

Manning makes more money. It won't fit on the leafs end.How about Manning for Spezza?
He has contract similar to Manning as the Avs are retaining. Besides, it would only appear to be negative value if you only counted this year's almost 20 games.Barrie with contract and lack of Offense closer to negative value player than getting someone good.
Cave + 5th rd. Pick for Spezza and Petan? How about Manning for Spezza?
Lmao, a 1 year 2.75 million cap hit Barrie is negative value on this site.Barrie with contract and lack of Offense closer to negative value player than getting someone good.

Sure. Send over the paperwork.Cave + 5th rd. Pick for Spezza and Petan?
In imaginnation land maybe, but in real life, of course he can be moved. Obviously, Larsson won't cut it, but add enough and take enough- there are no untouchables. No it won't be done. Give your head a shake. Nylander is untouchable.

For those reasons you listed, I’m not sure it’s even a polite no. That is a horrendous offer for the Oilers.Love how some are over looking the retention. Larsson when he comes back will play 22 to 25 minutes a game and is signed for another year after this one. So we retain 2 mill for next year for two soon to be UFAS , one of which most people believe is done and another who is supposed to either be PMD or PP specialist. But is struggling at either right now.
Polite no from the oilers
No, but I do think that the Leafs situation is one where numbers matter capwise and of course, that as good as a he may be defencemen he may be, Nylander is worth more. Depends on the pick, but I don't think you can trade dollars, but I guess retention or taking back a contract serves a similar function.Yeah, that is really cheap. Do you folks out east think Larsson is a cap dump or something? Just curious.
He is one dimensional. However he is a rock solid defensive defenseman. We can add to get Nylander. However some money has to go with him as both teams have no cap space.
So like Larsson, Puljujarvi, + a pick + $$$?
