Think taking kulak over engelland would've been the smarter choice, but it's not like we had a lot of talent available anyway. 2020/2021 is gonna be way more problematic for us, as we almost certainly lose a bonafide top 4 dman or top 6 forward.
Kulak was waived twice this season, Engelland was an UFA and had a good season last year. For Flames, not having Kulak or Engelland wouldn't have made much diffrecen. For Vegas, Engelland was probably a lot better than Kulak would have been. Choice didn't affect Flames, Vegas did good.
