Think taking kulak over engelland would've been the smarter choice, but it's not like we had a lot of talent available anyway. 2020/2021 is gonna be way more problematic for us, as we almost certainly lose a bonafide top 4 dman or top 6 forward.

Kulak was waived twice this season, Engelland was an UFA and had a good season last year. For Flames, not having Kulak or Engelland wouldn't have made much diffrecen. For Vegas, Engelland was probably a lot better than Kulak would have been. Choice didn't affect Flames, Vegas did good.

Vegas flipped Emelin to Nashville for a 3rd, which is probably what Hudon is worth so I don't think that was some kind of huge mistake.

Soderberg would have been seen as a cap dump at the time so the Avs would have had to give up a 3rd
Pateryn would be useful right now
Nosek was a good pick
DSP over Merrill sure I'll take that
Grabner or Fast
Khaira over Reinhart any day of the week

so 4 small regrets...not bad. Especially when you consider the overreactions a couple years ago.
