Voted McDavid, Marner, Matthews, Panarin, Mack didn't notice Kane on the list for some reason would of voted him over Marner.

I'm taking McDavid, Ovi, MacKinnon, Kane, and Draisaitl.

Who are the top 5 most exciting players in the NHL?

I know there are some names left off that some would consider. I basically put the top 10 scorers this season along with Ovechkin (previous history), Kucherov (previous history), Panarin (previous history) and Kaprizov (HFboard shiny new toy bias).

Makar should be on the list and would be in my top 5 but I only had one space for other.

Marchand is being severely underrated in the pure talent department. He may be unlikable to many, but he is also one of the most highly talented and one of the few who has the confidence to use that talent while killing penalties for high excitement offensive plays.

Maybe because the poll is Exciting players to watch?
Ask a Jet fan who is most exciting to watch Ehlers or Scheifele and 99 out of 100 would say Ehlers!!. Yet Scheifele is the more important and the better player.
Do i find Rantanen exciting to watch? Not Really.. but still believe he is one of the best Wingers in the NHL.

Scheifele has an exciting PP role though, and he's great at cycling the puck. He also knows how to get pucks deep and makes a lot of good efforts - it's very exciting
