Carlyle should be up there, since he brought us to the playoffs for the first time in a decade two years ago. He will probably be the only Leaf coach to taste the playoffs for the next 5 years minimum.

This looks pretty reasonable even if I would personally switch the Pats.

I love both of the Pats but I do think that Burns was the better coach.

I swear to god the people writing for all these partner sites must be 20..

It is hard to put blame on the coaches through the 80's, as the team was being managed by an owner who might have been a fair bit off his rocker.

It is hard, but flip side, none were here very long so it's pretty easy to dismiss them on a ranking like this, especially Brophy who I have a massive hate for since finding out he pushed for Richardson over Sakic

When talking about greatest coaches in Leafs history cup wins do matter, Quinn is not the best coach we've ever had. He is one of the best but not THE best. Hap Day coached the Leafs to 5 cups he's the best we've ever had.
