Doughty 13? Stamkos 5? McRae ahead of Doughty. HAHAHAHAHA that has to be the worst list I've ever seen. Doughty and Stammer are miles ahead of everybody else with Doughty going 1 because he a right-shooting D, and right-shooting D like him hardly ever come along. Trust me I've been watching this kid since he was 8 years old, special doesn't even come close to describing Doughty. The fact that the list had him behing McRae who played here in London is absolutely ******ed, McRae doesn't even belong in the same league as Doughty.

Change Matsson for Gustafsson. He's much better.
One thing more about Swedes: Tedenby has edge over Pettersson, due to Petersson's one-dimensional play.
Johan Motin must be ranked high, it remains unknown if he will show more offense this season, but a regular spot with one of the best SEL teams at 17, is a serious feat.

The McRae has absolutely no business being ranked ahead of the other bolded players.

    And no Filatov or Voyanov!?

IMO both Mikkel Bødker and Philip Larsen should go top 30. Mikkel Bødker is about the same level as Lars Eller and Philip Larsen is one of the best defensive prospects playing in Sweden atm.

If this draft is supposed to be better than 2003.....then I don't see the top 2 being a lot better than anyone else....
    2003:
    1) MAF...still needs to reach potential
    2) Eric Staal...slowed down a little soph season, still going to be a star.
    3) Nathan Horton....improved slightly this season
    4) Nikolai Zherdev...no more Russians ever again...he is a big reason for Cherepanov drop.

    19) Getzlaf...as good as Horton....will be as good as staal.
    28) Perry...better than Zherdev.

Therefore there's little gap between top 5 and first round, which I think will be the same next year.

i wouldnt put any confidence in this list, or the list that was the thread starter. its probably the worst thing ive ever seen, and its obvious its just a bunch of names thrown together.

-Moon is too high. He's a superb one-way player. Great, great hands. But he lacks everything else.

-Stefan Della Rovere. He's a massive hitter with non-stop energy. At 5'11, 200, he's got an extremely mature frame. He should be there.

-Corey Trivino is another excellent player not on that list.

-Jimmy Hayes is too low. Same with James Arniel.

I was just going to add Mikkel Bødker. He's almost just as good as Eller is and is only 17 (18 in December, IIRC).

I wasn't sure if Larsen is top 30 yet, but I'll take your word on it.

I've seen it spelled a few ways just like when Tyutin was spelled either Tyutin, Tjutin, or Tutin.

not going to comment on the list, because I think you just threw names together, but I still can appreciate the fact that you threw something together so people could get familiar with the names right or wrong.

I would add these guys because I think they have a great shot at first round and even top 10 to 20 slots.
    Zach Bogosian
    A.J Jenks
    Thomas Mcullum

I think all 3 will be risers come draft day. thanks

I'm amazed at how little attention Bogosian gets. I'd put him up there right behind Doughty and Pietrangelo. Maybe Del Zotto too, but I like Bogosian's defencive game more.
