Got to go with the Fighting Irish Jack Evans again.
Fucale would be a great pick also.

I think Lukas can get around 30-35 points with around 15 minutes TOI. He got 17 points in his rookie season with 12 minutes TOI which is comparable to Lehkonen's rookie SHL season.

His junior stats look good and I remember that he dropped because of injury and Rockstrom liked him a lot so he could be a steal.

He has good height so ideally he would slot into the 3C blackhole that we currently have with Desharnais.

Draft day report from HP:

"He is no stranger to the net, works hard, doesn’t quit on the play and doesn’t mind going into the corners to dig the puck to create opportunities. His strong two-way all around game makes him a candidate to develop into a 3rd liner that can bring some secondary scoring. "

^ what has Thrower done to be so high on the list. Dude had one good year in the WHL and that's it.

I don't think I have to argue for Sullivan.
Crisp would be higher in the 90's when we still needed face puncher.
Bradley reminds me of Vail.
Macmillan is 24 and is still only a depth AHL player.
Johnston skates well and has good vision, too bad he's a 24 yo small Dman lost in his own zone.
Koberstein has yet to have a good year like Thrower anywhere.

Saying Thrower has more potential than these guys means very little. If you want tiers:
Blue-chip prospect
Mikhail Sergachev

A prospect
Nikita Scherbak
Michael McCarron
Artturi Lehkonen
Charles Hudon
Noah Juulsen

B prospect
Martin Reway
Jacob De La Rose
William Bitten
Charlie Lindgren
Fucale
Vejdemo
Mete
Lernout

C prospect
Evans
McNiven
Grégoire
Bourque
Hawkey

D prospects
Audette
Bozon
Parisi
Henriksson
Addison
Pezzetta
Staum

E prospects
Thrower
Koberstein

Filler prospect
Johnston
MacMillan
Bradley
Crisp
Sullivan

The thing with Addison is that if he makes the NHL, it's as a 4th liner IMO. So that's why he's low. I agree that he's safer than a few guys in front of him like Audette, Bozon, Henriksson, Parisi and Hawkey.

Does age determine if someone is a prospect?

Surely Joel Hanley, who had 6 pts in 10 NHL games and is signed to a contract, should be on the list somewhere unless it is because he is 25 this year.

Or are we limiting ourselves to guys on ELC or not yet signed?

It is because he's 25 years old. Also, despite him having a 0.6 ppg, I think 90% of the board agrees he's at best a 8th Dman.

I said earlier that the next group, after Bitten, was the two goalies, Vejdemo and Lernout. Haven't changed my opinion. Chose Fucale, but he's a bit interchangeable with the two others.

I really think Bitten is going to move up our rankings very fast. Could easily be a top 5 prospect. Even higher. I think he could end up being our best forward out of this prospect pool.

The firebirds had an awful team last year, are they projected to do better this year?

I was really impressed with what I saw of him, looking forward to see him progress! However I don't see him ever surpassing Sergachev
