Bryan Murray will not use a first round pick on a European.(Unless it was an obvious must pick-i.e.Ovechkin at #1)...now if Gauthier was still Anaheim's GM then I could see that type of surprise pick.

He has the talent... and had 9 points in his 50 games at the highest level in Russia.

There will be more Europeans drafted in this years top 10 then any other year.

Weiss couldn't either, but it would be closer than Huselius.

Oh man your top 10 is pulling me both ways. I can't understand how you have Picard in the top 10, are you a big fan of him. I love how you have Chipchura up there, same as where I would have him.

Picard's one of the more offensively talented players in the draft.

I chose him in the top 5, not a safe prediction... but it's not that far off.

He's really good.
