No poll is legit without Rielly, Gardiner, and Dermott being an option for sure.

Sorry I didn't really explain it well enough. It was meant for it to be the sum total of play from the 2010 NHL season to the present day not just the last decade. This would put Lidstrom 96th amongst defenceman and McDavid 51st amongst centers in that time frame. I'll make sure to explain it/word it better in the next poll .

I see (honestly I should have made that assumption because of even years and decade and how these questions are normally phrased), that changes things a fair bit. I wasn't really arguing for it because I wouldn't personally consider him the slightest, I just think for anyone thinking McDavid is a lock despite playing less than half the decade, should probably give Lidstrom at least a thought.
