Since were all going to be bored as hell for a while, I thought I’d try to fire up a fun debate.

The top ten Avs players of all-time. I’ve included the Nordiques, but you can choose not too.

Here’s the twist!!! You have to project current Avs players careers and decide where they might fall on the list when they retire. Or, maybe they don’t make it at all. You decide!

Here’s my list. I can here the hate already haha

  1. Patrick Roy
  2. Joe Sakic
  3. Cale Makar
  4. Peter Forsberg
  5. Nate MacKinnon
  6. Peter Stastny
  7. Rob Blake
  8. Michel Goulet
  9. Adam Foote
  10. Mikko Rantanen

1) Sakic
2) Roy
3) Mackinnon
4) Forsberg
5) Makar
6) Hejduk
7) Blake
8) Foote
10) Rantanen
11) Bourque ( big reason why we won our second cup)

Nice list. Yeah, I was torn on Bourque. Legendary player, but only a short time with the Avs.

10. Duchene or Stastny (couldn’t leave either of them off the list).
Duchene over Landeskog?

Landeskog won the Calder his rookie season, reached a higher point total than Duchene ever has, and they have almost identical career production.

Except Landeskog brings way more as a hockey player, has been the Captain forever (and will be when the Avs win another Cup), and is just much more likeable in general.

Just realized you have him over Rantanen as well?

My list would be very different if this was top 10 favourite Avs. ;)

See, it’s the opposite for me.

Sakic is my favourite, but I think Roy is the best.

Mostly because I view Roy as the greatest goalie of all-time and I factored in his time with the Canadiens.

But, I guess if you were saying who did more in an Avs jersey, it’s probably Joe.

I think Duchene during those two peak seasons 13-13/14 is the best Avs player we’ve seen recently outside of Mackinnon obviously.

Stastny was just me loving him lol. Landy and Mikko are definitely both ahead as hockey players.
