This game reminds me a lot of the Dallas game in terms of two teams wanting it. But the Isles are banging a lot more and the speed from their blueliners is effective at getting to the pucks quickly and getting it out.
Neither team is able to generate a rush up the middle, settling for the side boards or dumpin' and chasin'.
Our early huge shot advantage has dwindled down to just 3 by the end of the second period.
We scored a SHG and PPG but gave up two PP goals. Our PK has had mixed results.
Now comes the third period. Looking to at least tie it up and send it to OT.
As long as we don't have a Zetterberg-like third period against, I'll be proud of the guys this game. It's been competitive so far.
