Kaberle was one my favorites, I still remember his rookie year and pretty much everyone being amazed with his play and wondering 'where he came from' as he was such a late round pick.

And the memories of the McCabe/Kaberle pairing on the PP.

I remember Kaberle fondly, he was a good if not extremely quiet soldier for us.

His retirement is kind of like his career, really under the radar.

I always felt good about the Leafs powerplay during Kaberle's tenure. With McCabe on the right side, it often felt like a goal was guaranteed, similar to how I felt when Sundin was on the ice during overtime. I miss those guys.

Well deserved retirement on a well played career. Congrats Kaberle! Watching him during the late 90s and the 2000s, knowing that he was a prime example of draft and develop, was such a treat.
