I still feel like Duchene is a better bet. They have the cap space to keep whoever they get. Plus Duchene plays C and LW, that versatility would be huge for Nashville.

That's really funny , as I can say the exact same thing as you did but in the contrary sense , in what world is a player like Tolvanen worth a 30+ goal scorer , who never takes a shift off and is signed until 2021 (when he will be 29) at 3.75M cap hit...

I think his stock has fallen slightly since his KHL year last season. He is doing OK in the AHL this year but nothing to brag about.
