Easily the worst situation in the NHL right now. The GM has given him 4 NHL calibre defensemen, a horrible third line center that should be playing wing, zero scoring depth. But Todd is so slow and stubborn he deserves to be fired as well.

For the sake of the league, McDavid needs to demand a trade. The organization is toxic from top to bottom and they are ruining McDavid.
The organization is rotten. TMac needs to go, Chiarelli completely destroyed our asset stable right as the league was changing to more of a skating league. He built the wrong team at the wrong time, loaded up on size and gave away Hall, Barzal, Eberle and more.

If you watched the games you wouldn't. His decisions have been a detriment to this team right out of the gate. Five left handed shots on a powerplay unit that's out there for 90% of the opportunities. The only way it scores is if McDavid catches the unit on the transition.
McLellan is coaching to get fired right now.

Let's give him at least 15 games. If less, Chiarelli has to go with him. But he's a serious contender for first fired coach of the season.

I don't know what kind of deal Daryl Katz made or whatever he is being punished for, but he did something. This team has been rotten and terrible since he bought them. They had a slight glimmer of hope that the storm had passed in 2016/17 with the promise of McDavid, but they are back where they were. How many GMs, Coaches, and cycles of players can you go through before its clearly on the owner and upper management?

Well, Katz can't fire himself and the Old Boys Club have a lifetime contract as long as Katz is owner so we'd settle for firing twittle Dee and twittle dumb Chia and McLellan.
