What exactly were the Titans expecting out of this team starting a rookie QB and a questionable cast of talent around him?

Mid-season firings should be for teams falling ridiculously short of expectations...not sure what the Titans were expecting from a bottom 5 roster and rookie QB...

They were expecting development of their young players. Whisenhunts struggles to integrate Wright, Hunter or DBG got him fired.

not like he was that good at developing players in Arizona,,,

Product of Kurt Warner. Always has been, always will be.

If Warner didn't find the fountain of youth when he did, Wis was probably going to be canned in the year they went to the Super Bowl.

That's why I thought he'd be fired last year.

I'm sure the Titans are also going to be prepared in case the Eagles bomb and Chip leaves.

Keep in mind Todd Haley was the offensive coordinator with Wisenhunt in Arizona
