It sucks, but it's a great opportunity for Tim. Being able to spend to the cap is great for a GM. Less scrutiny from the media is just a bonus.

Here's hoping Bryan convinces Tim to stick around until the end of the season where Bryan should be stepping down as GM.

Melnyk's going to ruin this team by being such a cheap ass. I wish we as fans could try to find a way to get him to sell the team to a competent owner who actually wants to win a championship and not focus only on profits. Can't stand the way he's using this team to cry poor and claiming he needs a casino to be able to spend to the cap like he used to even without the casino. The guy's an absolutely POS in my books.
