I had viral meningitis a few years ago, but thankfully it wasn't life threatening or anything. Took me about 3-4 hospital visits for the doctors/nurses to finally diagnose me correctly... I had migraines for about 2-3 weeks non-stop and random occurring migraines for about a month after that... and I felt like complete **** for about 6 months afterwards.

Hope he comes out of this perfectly fine.

It's good you recovered. Viral meningitis is less threatening than the bacterial form, which sometimes results in death or paralysis.

What an incredible turnaround, I couldn't be happier for Tim and his family.

So the doctor says that he "should" come back to being 100% but it will take some time and work. No doubt that he will work. But they do talk about months here obviously, so impossible to know, but at this point, wouldn't be surprised to not see him on the ice at the start of September. That's pretty short.
