The oilers are night and day from last year in regards to their commitment to team defence and the goalies have made the saves they are supposed to. Mix in two guys who literally cannot be stopped most nights and you’re gonna win some hockey games.

Tippett has only had this group for 20 games and missing one of their best defenders for almost all of it, this team isn’t it’s best version of itself yet.

I did. This happens every year. A team with playoff expectations stumbles out of the gate only to roar back in November or December.
