Excluding the outliers it probably takes 4-5 years post draft to really see how most clubs did. I don't think Holland is a draft genius by any means but he is a GM that actually watched Broberg play and watched a ton of US U18 games. He did scout the guy (for Detroit) so the pick wasn't in a vacuum. Also I think we should aim higher than RNH lite for a redraft
. Not saying Zegras might not be better but so might be 10 other later picks. More important is the guy isn't even 19 yet. When they were both 19 most people thought Jeff Woywitka was better than Duncan Keith. I think its at least 2 more years before we say the guy was a bad pick, especially with the strange use young guys get over in Europe.
