Have to bump this. The more games I watch and see of the other teams' uniforms, the more I cannot believe how awful these new jerseys look. The look like Little League wear. The names are too small, I cannot even tell if there is any stitching, and the embroidered logos have been swapped out for pressed on garbage.

I have always thought baseball jerseys were right on up there with hockey jerseys as the best in all of sports. The simplicity, quality, variation in colours, size of name and numbers, the extra details (ie. the Mariners patch that was embroidered). That's all been lost.

As a jersey hound (and snob), I seriously hope Fanatics/Nike reconsiders the style and make of these jerseys. They're awful. Not just the fans, but it also seems to be unanimous amongst the players as well.

I could care less about baseball as a sport, but I can't believe Nike would license there name 2 a crappy company like Fanatics 2 make the uniforms. Nikes makes the uniforms 4 NFL and NBA and lots of olympic teams and has never had problems. there shoes r the gold standard. Y did Nike change all this?

At least most ppl know this is a Fanatics problem.

Major League Baseball plans to address its uniform fiasco after changes this spring to the standard jerseys and pants led to widespread complaints from players and fans, according to a memo obtained Sunday night by ESPN.

This is such good news. I was probably going to bite the bullet and and get one of the new Dbacks jerseys soon, but now I can wait to see what changes they make.

Honestly, if they just put the logo back to where it was and made the names bigger, that would take care of 95% of my issues with it. The fabric is a little weird to get used to but it's not actually bad.
