Saturday, January 7th ADD/DROP TIMES

Procedure: During your time window post on this thread:

DROP: Player X
ADD: Player Y

Your squad must have 12 players before, during and after add/drop. A maximum of two players added (and dropped simultaneously) during this add/drop period. Any and all add/drops will be on the Saturday. If you miss your window then make up the pick by the end of the day, eastern time. A transaction freeze will be in effect at 12:01am eastern time Sunday, January 8th. (The next, following add/drop period won't be until early February).

Time windows
(it will be Eastern time for everyone, so plan accordingly).

67's 8am-959am
Ice Caps 10am-1159am
Flames 12pm-159am
Kings 2pm-359pm
Dynamo 4pm-559pm
Pioneers 6pm-759pm
Heat 8pm-959pm
Maineiacs 10pm-1159pm

I direct your attention to the rules as a reminder:

* Abandoned teams at any point in the draft simply fold (contracted, eliminated from draft record, yet their players are not available for drafting or add/drop); three outstanding missed picks automatically fold a team.
* the top 8 squads in terms of points at the end of December continue
* the monthly add/drop periods will be on the first Saturday of the month following the contraction (first one on Dec. 3rd) and that monthly draft will be clocked, each squad having time (an hour between 8am-midnight eastern time on Dec 3rd, two hours per team the first Sat. in Jan.), in reverse order based on accumulated points as of the end of the preceding month (e.g., the squad 16th in points at end of November will get first crack at add/drop, making 0 to 2 additions, the 15th in points gets second crack to make up to two changes, etc.). If you can't make your window, simply PM me a list beforehand and it will be used. There are no add/drops at any other time: if you draft an injury-prone player or simply have bad luck, well, that's the risk a squad faces!

I always believe in my team. I know I'm very good at picking. By the way I haven't done one change to my line up since I draft my team. :) :handclap:

So you will have an excuse when you don't make the next cut? PLAY THE GAME! Add/drop Saturday during your time slot (or PM a list to me). Only the top-4 will still be in the race in February and your Dynamo is a mere 4 points ahead of the Kings. In horse racing, this is where you crack out the whip! GIDDYAP!

Hopefully next year I can do better
Oh, you will definitely get an invite PM! All GMs in the top-16 finished actually constructing a full squad and made it past the first contraction. Kuddos for that. In contrast, there are way too many deadbeat drafters out there, so building a base of decent GMs is a good idea.

Today is add/drop Saturday.

Please re-read the ADD/DROP TIMES post on this page for your draft time and relevant rules of procedure. Many of your questions are easily answered by simply reading the rules.

Have a good day!

Can you add a player who has been dropped? If not please tell me ASAP
 The only thing more frustrating than a deadbeat GM is a zombie GM! Read the **** rules!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

How many times do I need to state them? I even PM'd them to everybody with highlight bolded and colored parts.

Really, get a clue and stop the epic fail. (Look up a couple of posts to the last time I posted the rules, in the add/drop times post.)

The worse thing than a bad commish is one who rages at question we ask

You didn't pm me **** as to rules... You said your Heat have this time slot and left it at that. I looked in the first post for any of these rules but they aren't there!

So get your head in the ******* game and write them there. I'm sorry I screwed up I don't drop anyone...

Every single GM received a quoted review of the rules prior to the first add/drop at the beginning of November. Every single one! You may have forgotten it, or probably didn't bother to read it, but you were sent it! Plus, as I mentioned just previously, this very page has a re-posting of the rules, bolded and coloured for your convenience.

I have done A LOT OF WORK to diligently run this thing. All I ask is for you to read and follow the rules.
