Ovechkin only had 65 points in the 11/12 season, and he's on pace for more points than this past season as well... he's easily having his best season since 09/10.

But by 09/10 standards, he is having a terrible season points wise. He had a 124 point pace that season.

We get it, you and Koized hate secondary assists, do you have to bring it up every three pages in a thread about the Art Ross? Can't you just enjoy one of the closest Art Ross races in years?

Consensus is that Crosby isn't really in the Hart discussion anyway, so I don't know why you're so up in arms. Hart is probably between Price (current favourite), Tavares or OV depending on if one of them wins the AR.

I didn't phrase that correctly. I meant that by being more responsibly defensively, he is probably scoring less goals than he would if he focused entirely on offensive. However, this trade-off results in him elevating the ENTIRE team, which is part of why they're so good this year
