That wasn't a deep pass. That was a throw away because nobody was open and Ben was about the be sacked.

Oh, I understand the pass itself was an attempt to throw the ball away. I'm just saying they didn't have anybody running a check down on an obvious blitzing situation like 2nd and 13.

Why the hell do we rush 3 and drop 8. It NEVER works for us, and Flacco is susceptible to pressure.

Okay, they lost 2, so it's 2nd and 12, obvious passing down . . . so, rush 3 or maybe 4, because there's no way Butler has the brains to blitz here when it's all that stands in the way of an easy 9 yard completion.

EDIT: Thankfully, Collins dropped the ball, because he gains 7-8 there.

Shazier has had a phenomenal game. We just need to find a way to keep him healthy. When he is 100% he is an animal.
