They clearly wanted to get Rudolph some completions early.

Except it was obvious to SF, too.

You get that big turnover, you don't just play it safe like that. But that was the plan, and they stuck to it.

Let's see if the next drive is more open.

Would have been nice to let Rudolph take a shot there. Talk about a wave of confidence if he connected.

This is why I chuckle at everyone praising Rudolph and how he is “ready” and the offense will actually be better than with Ben.

Obviously the coaching staff doesn’t believe that and want to “ease” him into the game...
