According to some comments on reddit, a Denver-Pittsburgh deal that was being speculated on was #20 and #51 for #12 and Sutton. Using the Rich Hill chart, that would have Sutton's value at about 34.7, which is about the value of the #101 pick. I'm not super keen on trading up, but I think the value in that deal is definitely reasonable on paper.
I'd rather do #119 and a 2025 late round pick for Sutton, but I think that proposed Sutton deal actually makes sense if the Steelers are hellbent on getting Mitchell.
Although with that being said, PFF released their final mock draft today and it has the Steelers taking Mitchell at 20th overall and both Barton and Powers-Johnson outside of the 1st round.
What if we lived in a world where teams avoided analytically unsound decisions in the draft? Well, this is exactly what this mock aims to achieve, as it reflects how teams should approach their picks from an analytical point of view.
