Then you look at Edmonton and wonder how they could be against the cap with only 2 good players.

Hawks defense sucks. Keith is a shadow of his former self.

He has a LOT of mileage on him. 1100+ games plus 100+ in the playoffs on top. The guy hasn't missed a lot of action since he came into the league.

Well Neal is paid 5.75 millions. Larsson 4.1. Russell 4. Green 2.6. That's a lot of money (16.45M) for a bunch of guys not very good. Those guys could easily be replaced by a bunch of good grinders paid between 1.5 and 2.5 and they would save a good 8 millions.

TBay is simply due to state tax advantage.
