Man I hope that when the broadcast switches over to TSN they don't get rid of Uncle Clapper
:(

Dome Productions provides mobiles for both TSN and Sportsnet. I would imagine that whoever is choosing camera angles is working in the truck for Dome.

I wonder what that dude has paid in season's tickets over the years. I think I remember him from the Civic Centre.

For as long as I can remember, ever since I've been watching sens games he's been there(and that's from the start), come on guys.

Two things I'd like to use my GCL subscription (which is like a DVR) for:

1. Finding every turnover by Spetsa and seeing if it is less than his point count.

2. Finding every instance of the clap man.

Bravo. Way to call the 6 year-olds out.

He's got a point. You're six years old and bursting with creativity, all you can do is tug your shirt? Punch someone beside you, tackle an usher, give the finger to an opposing fan, run around a little. Jersey-tugging is really...contrived and post-modern, to be honest. Hopefully the kids are more obnoxious as they grow, we need more troops vs. the Leafs when they are in town.

Old guy looks great, looks a little dazed, but enthusiastic.

I literally watched all the home goals from the last two season trying to find the clapper man. It's actually crazy how many of the goals you remember.

2. Finding every instance of the clap man.

If he's such a big hockey fan, you'd think he'd find his way on to HFBoards. Is he perhaps reading this very thread and laughing to himself (or maybe clapping and laughing)?

Clapper sighting: Friday March 28, 2014 Senators vs Blackhawks.

Apologies for not having recording devices for video evidence of any kind.

Can't help but laugh anytime I see this guy on TV now.
Being aware of the clapper man makes it hilarious to catch live.
