They’ve really clutched up DOWN THE STRETCH here. Smith with back to back shutouts, locking in at the perfect time.

Woodcroft deserves a ton of credit. Not sure if Tippett was just that bad, but the way he’s turned this team into a defensively responsible, more forecheck resistant club is eye opening. Especially considering the defensemen he has on the roster. When we used to play Vegas it was always tilted in our end and it felt like any win was more luck than anything. Not anymore. If he manages to slay that Minny dragon he probably deserves a statue on Jasper Ave.
