For the record, I hope Hynes actually gets a decent welcome if they acknowledge him. He doesn't deserve the animosity that he will likely get.

I also won't be one of those making a big deal if we lose. Hockey is a funny game that way. Hence why we beat the Capitals a few weeks ago who lead the NHL, and Hynes just beat them last night despite his team gift wrapping that game for them.

Not a bad guy by any means, just didn't work out the way we all wished it had as coach. He deserves better than what he'll probably receive from our crowd tonight.

I couldn’t care less about Hynes, coaches come and go. I wish he did the go part sooner but that’s water under the bridge at this point.

I just hate that he had no actual structure in place to help cover for the team's Defensive shortcomings.

The only thing he cared about was offense and defense attacking when the Defense part should have been defending.

If I were there I wouldn’t cheer him or boo him tonight. I’d just stay quiet.

He really didn’t do anything worth applauding here and he isn’t here anymore, so I see no reason to boo him either.

I don't think he deserves any boos. I'd love to keep getting paid for doing absolutely nothing too. That's on the GM, Hynes is not the one to blame. Definitely doesn't deserve any cheers/applause though. He didn't exactly do anything here.
