He has no trade clause that limits trades to 3 teams that year. That is not going to be an attractive contract to take.

I don’t like the idea of the expansion draft . I feel like a new team should have to start from scratch , build from the draft and there’s enough ufa’s out there to put a team together .

Yeah, but what are they paying for the NHL franchise? $650 Million or so. And Vegas was such a Cinderalla story that first year, so I doubt they go back to the bad old ways of teams being terrible for several years. If your team can't afford its 15th best player (or so, when you have too many forwards or D) then it is a pretty bad team, I think.
