Giroux Patrick and Konecny. Good lord those were some fantastic goals! Laughtons tip was nice, Lehtera... yeah. Disappointed I missed the 2nd and 3rd. Big f***ing win!

Synthesizing a few topics here, TK's emergence as a top 6 RW with chemistry with our top players TODAY should ideally be another nail in the Simmonds contract coffin. They wouldn't try it (siiiiiize), and have seemingly telegraphed Patrick is 1st in line -- and maybe he should be -- as Simmonds' replacement (should it come to pass), but TK is also righty and good at deflections and a pain in the ass. A guy like Gallagher plays net front for Montreal. Briere used to play a lot around the post too on the PP, though not net front. But TK already taking the next step and providing known value should weigh on Hextall.

Looking at the ice times it looks like Hakstol is finally learning how many minutes each player should get. Moving on from Lehtera, Filppula and Weise would be nice this off season. Having Sanheim or Morin come up and make a difference wouldn't be shabby either.

TK-G are so hot together; G-C-TK took over the game every time they were on the ice. Granted, NYR has a couple injuries to their defense so that is to be expected, but that aside, they still were absolutely dominant in every facet of the game. We have a lot to look forward to in the coming years and it's only going to get better.

You’re encouraging roadkill.

Well, that was super fun!

Alex Lyon with a .962 SA% and the King at .811?

MacDonald scores?

Jori scores and has a very nice assist?

Mandog scores and has a nice rush that leads to the Patrick goal?

Am I dreaming? :D

Nope. I've been told from a certain poster in another thread that they have nothing in common. Dead ..., sry he felt they are on complete different roles.
