some notes:

- lyon played well in relief but his flaws are still extremely evident. he goes down way too early and gives up the top, doesnt hug the post tight enough and his movement is very erratic because he doesnt track the puck that well and is constantly repositioning.

- provy had a bad game. nice shot from the point to get that redirection goal, but overall was turning it over a lot and was burnt bad by vesey early on.

- our very own jekyll and hyde (voracek) was on the bad side today. couldnt handle the puck and kept turning it over. cant complain though, he'll be fine.

- giroux was a MONSTER. beautiful shots, beautiful passes, he's as good as he's ever been right now.

- tk is electric. i'm afraid to see what he's going to do to the league in a few years.

- patrick looked great too. beautiful touch goal by him on the backhand. he might have the best hands on the team behind G.
