The zippers are great...I, 90% of the time put my pants on last, but normally, I'll always have the zippers done up properly on the pants rather than have them hanging loose....

but it's nice to put the pants on last

i see ripped ones all the time in college games(non-michigan and other top college hockey clubs) you'll notice thread hanging down and the lack of a zipper. It's technically illegal to do it.
