Well, when your internet goes out for the day and it comes back on while you're at work, I worked from 6:30-11:15, generally stuff like this doesn't get found out often especially since I live in Leafs land....

I was talking with my dad about this before he was signed and I said I would be ecstatic if he signed for 6 years at 6 mil. 5.75 by 6 years is so, so good. We will have a premier defenseman in his prime at slightly better than UFA money and if he truly does become that Gio replacement than we just replace Gio's contract with his and give the 5.75 to an up-and-comer. Continue ad-nauseam until we become a Detroit-like system. I want to be that team that doesn't miss the playoffs for 20 years.
